10. Explosions in the Sky - The Wilderness:
Is the seventh studio album by American post-rock band Explosions in the Sky, released on April 1, 2016.

9. Goodbye, Titan – Daedalus:
"    Raleigh's Goodbye, Titan exhibits remarkable dynamism, alternating between tiptoed delicacy and fantastic crescendos within each epic. Allen Palmer and Tilson play like two halves of the same guitarist, often finishing each other's melodic phrases. Bassist Matt Cash and drummer Cameron Purser lend the band remarkable immediacy, with the latter's love of acts like Atreyu affording Goodbye, Titan an additional oomph." - Indy Week's Corbie Hill.

7. Deftones – Gore:
It was released on April 8, 2016 in the United States by Reprise Records.

6. Native Daughters - Master Manipulator:
Denver's Native Daughters aren’t five guys who work at the same office, realized they all liked Isis, then decided to get together one weekend and jam. There were no record store flyers, no Craigslist ad, and certainly no “management” or marketing plan involved. As Mustangs And Madras ended, most of the band reformed as Native Daughters in 2010, later completing the lineup with guitarist Justin Hackl as his previous band–Only Thunder, met a similar fate.

5. Opeth – Sorceress:
Is the twelfth album by Swedish progressive rock band Opeth. Released on September 30, 2016 under its new label Nuclear Blast Records and Moderbolaget Records.

4. Trees of Eternity - Hour of the Nightingale:
Trees of Eternity came into being when Juha Raivio (Swallow the Sun) and Sweden based singer Aleah got together in the studio to work on the song "Lights on the Lake" for the upcoming Swallow the Sun album New Moon. The plan was to to feature Aleah’s vocals on part of the song already prepared by Juha, but when they instead began to experiment with a vocal line Aleah had written for the occasion the session quickly headed off in a new direction and the project took on a life of its own. The result was the song "My Requiem".

3. Pg.Lost – Versus:
pg.lost is a Swedish band of many directions. Their sound is throbbing with great melancholy, but there is also a healthy dose of dirty, crushing rock n’ roll in it — something you will be hard-pressed to find in the ever-growing mass of post rock pabulum.

2. Pixies – Head Carrier:
Is the sixth studio album by the American alternative rock band Pixies, released on September 30, 2016 on Pixiesmusic and PIAS. Is the 11th studio album by the American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, released on June 17, 2016. It is the first album of the band to be produced by Danger Mouse, making this also their first album from Mother's 1989 Milk not to be produced by Rick Rubin.

In addition, this is the second album that the group recorded with guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, after having released with him I'm with You in 2011. The Getaway was announced on May 5, 2016 with the release of the first single, Dark Necessities.
